I started this blog over 2 years ago. I made the cutest webpage, and had multiple unedited drafts that wouldn’t have took much to finish and publish. But for some reason never really “started.” I don’t know why I didn’t take it seriously or put in much effort when it was something I wanted to do for a while. I thought about the blog name for a while, how I wanted my page to look and be organized, and what I wanted to talk about. There was a lot going on when I first started Wifey Chat, I had just got married and started the Police Academy so I guess my mind was just on other things.
But here I am, 2 years later and not able to sleep because I want to get my first official post done. It is late, so I will have to edit in the morning because I am typing with sleepy eyes, but I finally feel motivated. So here is a quick 2 year recap.. I graduated the Police Academy, still married to my handsome husband, purchased a new home and pregnant with our first child. Wooooo, does that sounds like a lot? It feels like a lot. Let’s all laugh at how I thought I would have this all accomplished by 25. 25?! How did I come up with that age? Why was is so significant when I was younger? Anyways, I am 28 and still feel ill prepared for some of the things ahead, especially motherhood (but that’s for another time).
This blog is going to discuss lifestyle topics mostly, a little bit of home and some beauty and fashion. Since I will have a new title soon I will also be discussing motherhood. Oh guess what else..?! I started a youtube channel also. I recorded my first video and hope to have it up this week. It is about veganism, well because I am vegan and I love talking about it. Well actually encouraging people to become vegan, I can’t really say educate because there are no letters behind my name that allow me to do so. I hear a lot “ I could never…” and it’s like why not?
