I am very intentional about what I purchase for my daughter. I want it to look good, work well and serve multiple purposes. I created this page as a quick reference for moms to shop my baby amazon must-haves. If you want a more in-depth overview check out 0-3 month necessities, and 3-6 month necessities. Let’s be honest Amazon is convenient and quick, so it is necessary sometimes.

Personally, I shop second-hand first and if I cannot find what I need, I need something quickly or it is something I prefer not to purchase second-hand then I will turn to amazon. I will be transparent about the items that I have purchased second-hand, but I understand not everyone has the time to shop around, so hopefully this helps.

Amazon has created a space where small business can sell their products through their marketplace, but I also encourage you to shop directly with small and local businesses when you can. Amazon also has the option to purchase used items, which I regularly take advantage of to purchase books, and I encourage you to do the same whenever you can.

Snuggle Me Organic

Snuggle Me Organic
I didn’t want to love this (because of the price) but I did.

I am not a sleep expert, so please do your own research and make an informed decision.

*I purchased this lounger second-hand

Kimono Sleep Sacks

Not one blog or YouTube video talked about kimono sleepers. These were super convenient during the first weeks. Easy for midnight outfit changes.

Bedside Bassinet

This is a MUST for new parents! A bedside bassinet provides a close and safe space for babies to sleep.

This bassinet is adjustable and has a simple sleek look.

Muslin Blankets
I love the simple black and white designs of these blankets. They are also super affordable.

Snuggle Me Organic

Moby Wrap
This was my preferred newborn carrier. It is essentially a long piece of fabric that is tied to fit you.

*I purchased this wrap second-hand

Black & White Books
We used these black and white books for tummy time.

Bouncer Seat
Easy to move around the house.

This color and pattern was the most neutral at an affordable price.

Foam Play Mat
Hands down the cutest most affordable play mat I found.

My daughter loves playing on it, and I love the way it looks in our home.

Snuggle Me Organic

Dr. Brown’s Infant Feeder
I’ve use this for fruit, veggies and breastmilk popsicles.

It is gender neutral & easy to clean. It was perfect for my teething daughter.

Booster Floor Seat
Again, something super easy to move around the house and easy to clean. I cannot find the exact one I purchased ( I bought it of FB Marketplace & think it is an older model) but the Bumbo and Ingenuity baby base are similar.

I would suggest getting one with the tray.

Baby Carrier
I love this carrier. It is adjustable, so it can fit me and my husband. It is light weight, gender neutral and affordable.

It is also super easy to put on and off by yourself.

*I purchased this carrier second-hand

Activity Mat
Simple black and white design and easy to pack up and leave the house. There is also another option, that includes the activity gym.

Skip Hop Activity Jumper
Another toy I purchased because of its simple design and neutral colors.

Wooden Walker
I just ordered this walker in the black and white color scheme. It is only showing in the colorful one currently, but I am linking it here still so you can quickly access it when it is available.

High Chair
We have the IKEA highchair. It’s compact, easy to clean, and affordable. I am linking it here, but it is significantly cheaper at IKEA.

Breastfeeding & Pumping

Boppy Pillow
I linked the plain white pillow, there are plenty of gender neutral options for covers on Amazon.

Pumping Bra
I only own one pump bra. I put it on to pump at work and take it off. Since I only wear it a couple times a week in 20 minutes at a time I usually just wash it at the end of my work week.

Nursing Pads
Re-useable nursing pads are the best option in my opinion. I always had an issue with the disposable ones bunching up in my bra, and sticking to me.

Nipple Cream
This cream was perfect for sore nipples. I did not experience cracked or bleeding nipples, but assume this would also do the trick.

Medela Breast Pump
Check with your insurance, you should be qualified to get one for free. But if you work away from the home you might think 2 are necessary (like I do). I have the older version of this one but i highly recommend this pump over the spectra.

Medela Hand Pump
This was a life-saver in the first few months, and I still use it today.
