2. Outlet & Light switch Plates
New outlets, light switches and covers make a subtle but big difference.

Light fixture often get forgotten when doing home updates. But they are a quick way to elevate your space. Hanging or flush mount, indoor or outdoor. There are so many options to choose from.
4. Door Handles
While you can spray paint your door handles for a quick fix, I recommend replacing them if your budget allows it. Handles are a high traffic area and since they see a lot of action just upgrading from the beginning is suggested.
There are a variety of styles and colors you can choose from, and dont forget to include your exterior doors when updating.
5. Fresh Paint
I suggest white for a clean and fresh look. Keeping it neutral with clean lines and the perfect finish will help create a luxury space.

Before you buy it, try and make it (find out how here)! But if you aren’t crafty, or just do not have the time you can check out discount stores, facebook marketplace or of course Amazon.
Large artwork fills a blank space without much effort, and allows you to get as creative as you’d like.

More shelves, bookcases and baskets to help organize (and even hide) your items is a great way to keep your home looking clutter-free and luxurious.

11. Hang Curtains High
Give the illusion of a higher ceiling with curtains hung high. These velvet curtains are a personal favorite of mine, and they are in each of our bedrooms.
12. Add Natural Materials
The simplest way to add natural elements or stone in your home is decor or small pieces of furniture, like bar stools or coffee tables.
