If you are anything like me, then couples costumes are mandatory every year. But I do try to let my husband have a say, so he is more willing to participate. I’ve complied some of the costumes we’ve done over the years, so here is 6 Couple Halloween Costume Ideas that He Will Love & are totally instagramable!
Costume Ideas
- Zombie Bride and Groom “Til death do us part”
You can get as extravagant or as simple as you want with this. We opted to go simple, since we were going out and wanted to be comfortable.
All white and veil for the bride, and my husband opted for all black. Don’t forget the zombie makeup.
2. Top Gun
You really cannot get more comfortable than a jumpsuit (the romper is really cute too) and combat boots for a night on the town. A bomber or jumpsuit, some aviators and your man is good to go.
SN: This also makes a great group costume too. We actually did this as a group with my husband’s friends.
3. Linda and Bob Belcher
This is a super simple costume that you can accomplish with buying very little. Red glasses, his and hers aprons and a fake mustache and we were good to go. In other words, shop your closet first, then check out the links for whatever else you need.
4. Superbowl (insert year)
My husband being a Patriots fan and me being a Seahawks fan, this was a given in 2015. We even dressed our dog up as the ref!
Check out Etsy for a custom cheerleader uniform like mine pictured here. And I’m sure your man already has a jersey from his favorite team, just grab him some foot ball pants.
5. Astronaut and Alien
Another costume where you can really get creative! His NASA tee, and a lab coat gave the astronaut vibes I was going for. And for my alien costume I went with a metalic bodysuit (the options are really endless), alien glasses and aetna headband.

6. Wrestlers
We pulled these together 2 days before Halloween. My husband really wanted to be Stone Cold Austin, so I had to get creative. It is not my favorite, but I still think we nailed it for a last minute costume. There are so many wrestlers you can choose from making this an easy choice for a last minute DIY costume.
